Casual to fancy styles to wear to brunch

August 4, 2017

So you’ve been invited out to brunch and you’re not totally sure on what to wear. Should you go fancy or casual? Depending on your plans there are many styles you can go for, so here is a list of fashion ideas for a chilled out brunch to an all out extravaganza!

A low-key brunch

Jeans! You can never go wrong with a pair of jeans. From skinny to boyfriend, give your casual look a cool appearance.

Nothing will bring you more comfort than a pair of trainers or sneakers and will be the perfect accompaniment to your outfit.

Stick on a sassy sweater or a statement t-shirt to give your look an edge! Now if you’re wondering why we would recommend a sweater… remember it can get a little chilly so it’s always best to be prepared. To complete your look, add a bright side bag or clutch and you’re good to go.

Brunch dates

If your get together is slightly more formal, then a light summer dress is the perfect way to go paired with a sun hat. We recommend you stick to lighter colours such as yellows and greens to give a more effortless appearance.

Stick on some sandals to give you a more feminine look, not to mention you will be a lot more comfortable, and that’s the most important thing!

Fringe is in. Fringe bags are the new summer trend and we love them. So try and opt for a darker coloured bag to contrast with your outfit.

A trendy get-together

A fancier brunch can be quite daunting when it comes to choosing an outfit, but nothing says classy a nice skirt. So we suggest you go for a loose fitting, high-waist skirt that you can wrap a belt around. And for your top, add a plain blouse or shirt.

Add some sass to your outfit with a pair of over-sized sunglasses, and if the sun is out an over-sized sun hat looks great too. To complete your outfit, wear some ankle boots and carry a small statement clutch.
